A 30-day social content calendar for a small store

A small store does not need a content team. It needs a rhythm it can keep. Here is a month you can plan in one afternoon and repeat.

A 30-day social content calendar for a small store

Consistency beats brilliance on social channels. A store that posts something useful five times a week for a month will learn more about its customers than a store that posts one perfect campaign and goes quiet. This calendar gives you the rhythm; you bring the products.

The weekly rhythm

  • Monday, a product. One product, one clear photo, one reason to want it today.
  • Tuesday, behind the scenes. Packing an order, a new delivery arriving, the person who answers your messages.
  • Wednesday, a question answered. Take a real question from your inbox and answer it publicly.
  • Thursday, an offer or a bundle. Two products together, free delivery over a threshold, or a small gift.
  • Friday, a short video. Fifteen seconds is enough: unboxing, before and after, how to use it.
  • Weekend, your customers. A photo a customer sent, a review, a repost with a thank-you.

Four weeks, four themes

WeekThemeWhat changes
1Best sellersShow what already works and why people buy it
2New arrivalsEverything that came in this month, one at a time
3How to use itGuides, care tips, combinations, common mistakes
4CommunityCustomer photos, questions, a look back at the month

The rhythm stays the same every week. Only the theme changes, so planning takes minutes instead of hours.

Produce a week in one sitting

Block two hours once a week. Shoot the five photos and the short video in the same session, with the same light and the same background. Write the captions immediately while the products are in front of you. Then schedule the whole week in one go and close the laptop.

Reply to every comment within the day

A calendar creates conversations, and conversations are where the sales happen. Set an automatic first reply for the common comments, and make sure a person answers the rest before the end of the day. A post with answered comments keeps working for you long after it was published.

Measure only three things

At the end of the month, look at three numbers per post: saves, comments and messages it started. Repeat the kind of post that scores highest, drop the kind that scores lowest, and keep the rhythm. Next month's calendar writes itself.
