Broadcast campaigns

Broadcast messages and reminders that stay relevant

A restock arrives or a class is coming up, and the people who asked about it are in separate chats. Kwamle Media helps you reach the right existing contacts with scheduled broadcasts and recurring reminders.

A customer asks about a restock, then another asks about your next workshop. When there is news, finding those chats and repeating the same message becomes another task. Broadcast messages and reminders in Kwamle Media help you follow up with the people who have already contacted your business.

Choose existing contacts by tags, schedule a campaign or set up recurring notifications, and continue their replies in the unified inbox. Use each option within the platform's messaging rules and leave out anyone who has opted out.

How it works

  1. Connect your business accounts

Connect the accounts your business owns through each platform's official login or API. Choose the connected channel you will use for the campaign, and check which types of messages it permits for your contacts.

  2. Group existing contacts with tags

In the flow builder, use the Tag User step to label a contact for later targeting. Tags such as "restock interest" or "class updates" help you select an audience whose earlier conversation fits the message.

  3. Schedule a campaign or recurring reminder

Write the announcement and choose when it should go out. Use a broadcast for a restock or a change to opening hours. Use recurring notifications for regular reminders, such as a weekly class update.

  4. Check messaging rules and opt-outs

Keep the audience to contacts who have already chatted with your business and whom the platform allows you to message. Respect each channel's rules for scheduled sends and recurring notifications. Exclude anyone who has opted out.

  5. Continue replies in the unified inbox

Customer replies land in the unified inbox. Your team can pick up the conversation there and answer the next question. A person can take over from the bot, which stays quiet for that chat.

Who it is for

For teams with an existing conversation to follow up on and a relevant update to share.

  • Online stores tell interested shoppers that an item is back in stock.
  • Restaurants and cafés share menu updates with customers who already chat with them.
  • Course creators remind participants who contacted them about upcoming lessons.
  • Studios and clubs keep existing contacts informed about regular classes.
  • Service businesses send opening-hour updates to customers who asked to stay informed.

Questions about campaigns and reminders

What are broadcast messages and reminders used for?

Use broadcasts for news such as a restock, a class announcement or a change to opening hours. Recurring notifications suit updates that repeat. Both are for existing contacts who are eligible to receive the message under the channel's rules.

Can I send messages to people who have never contacted my business?

No. These campaigns are for people who have already chatted with your business. An existing conversation still has to meet the platform's requirements for the message you want to send.

Can I send a campaign to only one group?

Yes. Use tags to select the relevant contacts. For example, Emma in London could tag people who asked about an unavailable item, then select that group for a restock announcement. The tag helps choose the audience; platform rules and opt-outs still apply.

Can I schedule messages and repeat a reminder?

Yes. Schedule a broadcast for the time you choose, or use recurring notifications for regular updates. Keep the message and audience appropriate for each send; the same channel rules apply each time.

What happens if someone opts out?

Leave that contact out of future campaigns and recurring reminders. Review opt-outs when preparing the audience, even if the person still has a tag that matches the campaign.

Where do replies to a campaign go?

They arrive in the unified inbox, where your team can answer and take over from the bot when needed. The reply continues as a conversation with the customer.
